National player Felix Nmecha is back on the training field with Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga club shared a photo on X showing the 24-year-old jumping over small hurdles as part of his rehabilitation process. Although Nmecha has yet to rejoin the team training, the club announced that he is working diligently towards his return. „It feels great. I hope it won’t take long,“ Nmecha said in a video released by the club.
Since late January, the midfielder has been sidelined due to a ligament injury in his knee, which he sustained during a Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen. As a result, the three-time national player, who scored his first international goal in a 1-1 draw against Hungary in November 2024, is also missing out on the national team’s matches in the Nations League.
