Tibor Pleiß joins Panathinaikos for the remainder of the season

Basketball national player Tibor Pleiß has transferred to the Greek top club Panathinaikos Athens for the remainder of the season. The 35-year-old center comes from the Italian club Trapani Shark, as announced by Panathinaikos.

This transfer marks Pleiß’s seventh club in his long Euroleague career. In Athens, he will once again work with coach Ergin Ataman, with whom he previously played at Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Together, they won the Euroleague in 2021 and 2022.
